My Fire Escape Plan:
A fire in my house could start in the kitchen, this is the most common place for fires to start. They could also start in the laundry room because of the dryer. Even in the bathrooms, due to straighteners and curling irons. Another would be my dads office because of chewed wires.
My responsibilities would be getting all of the animals out, and calling 911. The best chance of escape would be going out the window. That is the path least blocked by fire hazards.
Mom and dad are responsible to make sure my brother, Daniel, and I get out safely. Then they could escape out their door into the backyard. During an emergency, their room would be the safest.
Lastly, Daniel has no responsibilities except getting out safely. He could climb out his window, then meet up with the rest of the family. That is unless my dad or mom helps him escape safely.
None of the rooms in my house contain emergency equipment, that could be used in a fire. The best thing we could do would be calling the fire department, then hope our house will be saved. That's what we would do in a fo
